Welcome back to Berlin, MoMA!
Do you remember the year 2004 when 1,2 Million visitors wanted to get inside of the “Neue Nationalgalerie”? The reason for that run was the paintings from the Museum of Modern Art from New York. The people waited patiently for hours just to have a glance at those pictures. Many artists and performer came in front of the museum to sweeten the people’s standing time with little funny and entertaining performances.
And now it’s time again: Until 29th May 2011 there is the exhibition named „Kompass – Zeichnungen aus dem Museum of Modern Art New York. The Judith Rothschild Foundation Contemporary Drawings Collection“ with drawings by Cy Twombly, Joseph Beuys, Sigmar Polke and many others in Martin-Gropius-Bau.
Have fun!
