Welcome to Kiribu, we are excited that you wish to join our community! Here follow detailed instructions on how to sign up to become a regular member or a business member of Kiribu. If you have any difficulties at all, please contact us here.
Create An Account
- Click ‘Create an account?‘ in the top right corner of the page to take you to the registration page.
- If you want to refer to these instructions while completing sign up, right-click over ‘Create an account?‘ and select ‘Open in a new Tab’ or ‘Open in a new window’ or something similar. This will keep both pages open, and allow you to easily refer to these instructions.
Note that we are currently testing the site before launch, so access to the sign-up page is limited . Please enter your email if you are interested in opening an account.- Create a username. It is limited to 15 characters made up of only lowercase letters and numbers.
Complete the other fields.- Please select your home country, or where your business is based. You can add further locations once you have joined.
Please correctly select whether you are a normal member or a business member to access the best features for your account.
If someone referred you, please enter their username in the ‘Referring Member’ box.
Fill in the ‘Human Verification CAPTCHA Code’ and click ‘Complete Sign Up’. This will take you to the ‘Kiribu Sign Up Complete!’ page.
Kiribu Sign Up Complete!
- You will receive an email which requests that you follow a link to verify your account. You must do this before you can login.
- While you wait for your email, you can add an avatar. This is an image that is permanently associated with your account. You can add it now or later, and you can change it at any time.
- It is best to upload an image that is at least 100 pixels square to ensure a good quality image, but we advise against uploading an image that is larger than 500 pixels square.
- Select ‘Choose …’ or ‘Browse …’ to find an image on your computer, and ‘Upload Image’ to upload the image.
- Your image will be displayed, and you can select any area to crop it. Click ‘Crop Image’ once you are happy with your selection.
- If you choose not to upload an image, or you have finished uploading your image, check your email account for your verification email.
Activate Your Account
- You should have received an email titled ‘[Kiribu] Activate Your Account’.
Follow the instructions in the email to activate your account.
Log In
- After following the Activation link your account should be activated, and you will have been taken to the ‘Kiribu Account Activated’ page. You can now log in.
Find the ’sign-in’ button at the top right of the page, and click it. This should open a pulldown form.- Enter the username you used at sign-up and your chosen password. You will have received another email confirming your username, but you’ll need to remember your password!
- Click ‘Log Me In’ and you’re in!
